Freelance mechatronics engineer · industrial automation & PLC programming

With over 12 years of experience as a mechatronics engineer, I specialize in designing and building reliable control systems for machines and installations. That covers the first concept, the detailed engineering, and the on-site commissioning and handover that comes after it.

Structured, fail-safe, understandable. That is the standard every control system gets held to, whether it is a single machine or a full installation.

My programming is built on the GRAFCET methodology (DIN EN 60848), which produces control logic that is structured, clear and maintainable, so the system stays understandable for whoever needs to work on it next, not just for me. That matters more than it sounds: a lot of machine downtime comes down to someone staring at logic they did not write and cannot make sense of.

Safety and reliability are never an afterthought. Every control system I design follows a fail-safe philosophy: if equipment or cabling fails, the system resolves to a safe state rather than a dangerous one.

I work as an independent freelancer, available for automation assignments where structured engineering and dependable execution matter.
