Industrial automation,
engineered for reliability.
Over 12 years of experience designing, programming and commissioning PLC-controlled machines and installations, all built on structured, fail-safe control logic that keeps your production running instead of catching you off guard.
End-to-end automation, one engineer.
From first concept to a running, maintainable installation, with the same person handling every part of it in between.
PLC Programming
Structured PLC logic in Siemens TIA Portal and Step7, built to be understood by whoever opens it next.
Learn moreMachine & Installation Design
Control architecture worked out before a single PLC input gets wired, so surprises get caught on paper instead of on the floor.
Learn moreControl System Optimization
Recurring faults, unreliable cycle times or legacy logic nobody wants to open. This is where that gets fixed.
Learn moreCommissioning & Safety
On-site testing that checks what happens when something fails, not just when everything goes right.

I'm Raoul Paquaij, a freelance mechatronics engineer with more than 12 years of experience designing and building control systems for machines and installations. I handle the whole path myself, from the first concept to the day the system gets handed over.
Every project is programmed using the GRAFCET methodology (DIN EN 60848), which keeps the logic structured and easy to follow instead of a black box only I understand. Fail-safe behaviour gets built in from the start too, so equipment or cable failures resolve to a safe state instead of a dangerous one.
